Rodrigo Palos-Rodriguez

Hi, I’m Rodrigo Palos-Rodriguez, but most people call me Rod. I’m an illustrator and aspiring manga artist currently studying Illustration and Graphic Design at Northwest College of Art & Design (NCAD). I spent a lot of time drawing the characters I loved, which eventually grew into a passion for illustration, comics, and creating my own characters and stories. I’m always eager to learn and improve my work whenever I get the opportunity. I especially enjoy character creation, illustration, and manga, and I like combining an anime-inspired style with elements of realism to give my artwork its own look. My biggest goal is to create and publish my own manga and build stories that people around the world can enjoy. Eventually, I’d love to see one of my stories adapted into an animated series. Along the way, I want to keep developing as an artist, experiment with new ideas, and continue finding ways to bring the characters and worlds in my head to life.Outside of illustration, I’m also interested in creating YouTube content from time to time, giving me another way to share my work, ideas, and creative process with others.
